[6414] Error Message- Freezing track and Rendering song

I already sent support the problem but I'm posting it here to see if anybody else has run into this issue. I'm trying to freeze a track, a midi track with pianoteq on it, and I get this error message:


"Syntax error: A class ID was expected, but "}" was found instead. "

yes got that today for the first time trying to freeze a track

hi im having the same message suddenly then also as i went to drag a simple delay on to a track i also got this message so but i could open other ableton pluggins :? so now i have a project that i cant freeze anything and i cant use simple delay. and from reading this thread now find out that i cant render it. any ideas what this is all about?
PS> i use leopard on a imac and latest version of live 8.

Hi all,

this is a known bug which we are currently trying to identify. To help us locate the issue, it would be great if you could try to reproduce it using the latest beta of our upcoming bugfix update. When the error message "Syntax error: A class ID was expected, but "}" was found instead." appears,
  • please click ok, then
  • choose "Report a bug..." from the "Help" menu and
  • send the bug report pack to [email protected] with a reference to this thread in your email.
If you need help with freezing or rendering please additionally contact [email protected]. In your email, please describe your issue, include your set and a reference to this thread. Please also include which version of Live and which version of your operating system you are using.

I am sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced using Live.
