I think the main part of interest is this one
This update improves overall stability, provides numerous fixes and enhancements, and is recommended for all users of Logic Pro 9

You don't need to care, so go to and read another topic, but some people on this forum also use Logic and it might be of interest to them. And it can address more than 4 gigs of ram

I said "honest question" so that nobody would think I'm just being a smartass, but what I didn't mention was that I'm not talking about Logic, which I have and rarely use. I'm saying there's a lot of people screaming "64 bit!" when they don't know wtf they are talking about or what it really means and only think that bigger must be better.
I'm one of those people that doesn't know wtf it means but I'm also not one of those people screaming for/about it. I don't think this is an issue that is holding back my music career.

It would definitely matter to people who have more than 4gb ram and use huge instruments like Trilian or huge Kontakt instruments and Orchestras etc.
For laptop users like me, it doesn't matter. However always nice to see a .1 update.
