View multiple MIDI clips simultaneously?

I'm pretty sure there's no way to do this, but here's hoping.

In Cubase, you can select several MIDI clips in the project view and double-click to open them all in a single MIDI editing window. This shows all the selected MIDI parts together. At the top of the window is a drop-down that you can use to choose which part you're working on. This is very useful when arranging since you can see and work on a part in context with other parts. It's easy to see the interval and rhythmic relationships between the parts

In Live, it seems like you have to flip from one clip to another, and back, and forth, and back, and forth. Is there some way to edit multiple MIDI parts simultaneously?

no way.

a workaround could be done with max for live (I guess... but not sure, cause I never worked with max for live and clip notes data)
a kind of clip navigator...
but it would be a little bit tricky, so my 1st answer remains: no (direct and native) way :?

Hi

Think about how many mouse clicks you are away to reach that in Cubase. Select tracks, double click, choose from sub-menu which track you want to see.

Now Ableton Live. Double click clip. Navigate to selection using up/down

It's quicker in Live.

the only practical way to do this is in arrange view, which shows a simple picture of the midi sequence inside a clip. if clips are lined up in adjacent tracks, rhythm would be easy to see but pitch would be hard to interpret.
