Is there a way to move only the left loop marker. I tried shift and cntr combination but it always moves the whole loop. The right one can be adjudted through the numerical window but the left one moves always whole loop, not just the loops start. Not a big problem but it would be useful to have this option, or I overlooked something.

In arrange view? Just make sure you're mousing the top left or right of the loop marker where the mouse turns from the double-ended arrow into the [ or ] mark. When it does, click and drag to change loop start/end.

I know that, that works of course, I am talking about doing it the where the loops marker are, when dragging changes the values.
The problem is it is a lot of action while I am correcting something in arranger and want to change the loop starting point. 1. I have to change the view-"-------" then do what you say then"++++++++" find again where I was and continue. There are 2 windows left and right to the loop markers while right one does what you expect moves the right marker the left one moves the whole loop not just the marker which is not so good . Since you can always move the loop with the mouse- as it is always visible but the marker may not be always visible.
I should have explained it more precisely in the first place, damn ... should better make little QT demo of it.

i agree, this is undandy. I would like to have a key press to set "L" to current location and also another seperate keypress to set "R" to current location in arrange view.

But since we dont have that [for thsi release] instead you can use the following workaround:

when you are zoomed in to an area and you want it to loop there; select the part you want to hear and then press ctrl/apple + L.

This will make that part of the arrangement loop and you dont have to press ------- and +++++++ to find the loop bar.

hope that helps the pain...
