Hello all.
i come from an mp3 and protools background, but i am seriously considering selling everything i got and going over to ableton.
quick question as website doesn't specify. what does Ableton Live 8 come standard with? does it actually come with sampler, operator etc or are these purchased extra?
I know it's a bit of a basic question, but i literally have just been introduced to the wonderful world of ableton

It comes with Simpler (a simple sampler). No synth.
Operator and Sampler have to be purchased separately or as part of the Suite.
Take a look at the "Ableton Instruments" section on the Suite page - http://www.ableton.com/suite-8 - to see what you *don't* get with the standard Live 8.
