It is NO WAY as innovative or revolutionary as the other Cat products we now have learned to love, even haters had to admit the introduction of the 289c was faaar more evolutionary and yet so familiar. The 385 may look as the object you have to desire right now but it simply pales when in front of the 289c and its sheer beautiful sense of an accomplished idea that changes everyday life for the better.
What's the point of being able to dig craterous holes, albeit nice to look at, when you don't have anything to fill them up? The 289c provides just that: the ability to move other people belongings out of the way, houses, cars, beach slots, whaterver. And then, EVENTUALLY dumping them in some nice holes.
Let's say the 385c is a nice accomplishment and something you'd really want to stand being the knobs of, but as the imaginative and looking forward company that Cat has always been recognized as, this is a letdown to me, and I'm a fanboy.
