Caterpiller 385C L - iPad killer?

Because it's heavy and could crush it and stuff.

Can't run Live on it either though.

any minute now Cat haters will be hatin' on this, but I never realised how much I needed to dig a large hole until I got mine, and now I don't know how I managed without one.

I've literally not stopped digging big-assed holes since the moment I got it.
Sure it's not as flexible as a standard controller, and sure it costs a little more - but hell look at what you get for your money : rugged construction, excellent design, phat tracks.

one minor niggle : no USB

ImageIt is NO WAY as innovative or revolutionary as the other Cat products we now have learned to love, even haters had to admit the introduction of the 289c was faaar more evolutionary and yet so familiar. The 385 may look as the object you have to desire right now but it simply pales when in front of the 289c and its sheer beautiful sense of an accomplished idea that changes everyday life for the better.
What's the point of being able to dig craterous holes, albeit nice to look at, when you don't have anything to fill them up? The 289c provides just that: the ability to move other people belongings out of the way, houses, cars, beach slots, whaterver. And then, EVENTUALLY dumping them in some nice holes.
Let's say the 385c is a nice accomplishment and something you'd really want to stand being the knobs of, but as the imaginative and looking forward company that Cat has always been recognized as, this is a letdown to me, and I'm a fanboy.
Live 9 Suite, audio trackles (several audio tracks that crackle)

I dunno, if you want to keep that old school feel, I'd def. stick with a Case. Sure, the new kids all use Cats, but real stuff gets done with Case.

Yeah, I hear you, here he is harping on about the old school and things have got smaller blah blah blah, but...just look at the size of this filthy cocksucker.
