I have live but not suite and I am interested in some of the monome apps that are written with Max 4 live
I downloaded the suite, which has live and the apps load fine but the connection with the monome does not work. After fiddling some I decided that the fact that the save and export functions are disabled prevents it from communicating via OSC which is what the monome uses.

Does anyone know if this is right? If it is it looks like I might have to buy Max for live in order to see how they work

if the monome patches you are trying to use are written in Max For Live, the only way to use them is if you own a copy of Max For Live.
