HI
I HAVE A USB SOUNDCARD WITH 2X PHONO OUT PUT, 2X PHONO INPUT AND THEN A HEADPHONE OUTPUT.
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WORKING OUT HOW TO SET UP THE OUTPUT SETTINGS WITHIN ABLETON.
I AM ABLE TO OUTPUT SOUND BUT DONE UNDERSTAND HOW TO SETUP FOR A LIVE DJ SET IN ORDER TO HEAR MY CUE WITHOUT SOUNDING FROM THE MASTER.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME SET THIS UP?
MANY THANKS
PAUL

If you only have 2x output on your card, you can only monitor your output if you do it in mono. Unless your headphone output is a second pair of outputs (which i doubt). You might need a different soundcard if you want more options (outputs).

Ah yes, I hate that thing. I don't even know if it comes with ASIO audio drivers??. But yes, only 2 in, 2 out according to the description. I think it is more intended for use with regular audio equipment (cd players, tape decks etc.)

I'd definitely do some research. This isn't the most perfect advice, but I've heard good things about the Native Instruments audio interface when it comes to djing

. If you search around you might get lucky enough to find a bundle deal that gives you extra software or hardware for a very reasonable price.
I personally like my M-Audio FastTrackPRO.
There are a lot of options..
