Hello,

i´m a legit owner of live but have major problems with my mac and the soundcard. for this reason i once sweeped the harddrive and did a clean os install as well as live. then i changed the harddisc and reinstalled live. so all in all i think i authorized live for at least 4 times without problems.

now i´d like to make an OS downgrade to 10.5. but i´m not sure i could authorize live again then?

is there a limit on authorzations? i´m just using one computer and my copy of live is always only authorized and used by myself.

please someone let me know.

From our FAQ:
How many times can I authorize/unlock Live?
You can authorize/unlock Live two times after you have registered.
Ableton will give you more authorize/unlock codes if you send us a brief mail and an adequate explanation of the circumstances.

If you reach your last unlock, you get an automatic e-mail.
If you need more unlocks, contact [email protected] with your
serial and a brief explanation.

So..........Does it actually 'cost' Ableton anything to send authorisation codes? I can't imagine why there should even be a limit to the number of times we can authorise?
Maybe I'm missing something ( I usually am)
