I have a midi foot pedal that I want to use to control some things, but this particular foot controller only sends CC messages, not midi note numbers. Fine, except my main controller only sends midi note numbers on some functions and not CC messages.

So for some functions, like track activate, i want both to be able to have a midi note number activate it and a cc message two. One or the other will active the activate button.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I don't think it's possible directly in Live, you have to look at using some external program like Bomes (or MidiYoke?) to configure your midi as you want it before it reaches Live.
