Ableton Forum

The springy light switch in my fridge gets stuck now and then, so sometimes I open it and it's dark inside and just as I'm about to think "Oh no the light bulb has gone" the switch flips and the light comes on anyway. To my mind this is sufficient proof that the light goes out indeed when I close the fridge's door. To be 100% certain I guess I could drill a hole and have a look but I don't think it's worth it. Plus I might void my warranty that way.

This has nothing to do whatsoever with Ableton Live.

How do you know it doesn't come on when you close the door?

OMG i had a laugh reading that... maybe i am just in a weird mood, but this made me cry

I think that Abletons advice would be to upgrade your system

I do have a fridge, but whether or not the light comes on or goes off when I close the door is of no interest to me whatsoever. So no drilling holes in mine, thank you.

I don't need that. No one needs that.

I said I was satisfied stop hassling me! After you drill the hole just put a cork in it, cork is a good insulator due to all the tiny cells with air in it, it won't make a difference, you could cut off the excess cork with a knife & then put a fridge magnet on top, your wife will never know, but YOU will sleep better my friend!

Yes I got that, because hamsters can't write. To the people rambling about beta versions: This has nothing to do with Ableton, so get a Live.
