Drum Rack advice/ problem

I love drum rack but the only problem I have is say I'm chopping up drums in the arrangement view and drag the individual pieces into the drum rack pads, everytime I do it I notice the level on the drum rack pads are very low. Is there anyway I can set the drum rack to default at a higher volume so I won't have to keep turning up each individual pad? Maybe I'm just being picky..
