Africa gets a lot of bad press for being ass backwards, but we really have to tip our hats to the level of sexual activity that takes place there. Isn't that all you can really hope for out of life? I'd live in a mud hut with a car hood for a door in exchange for mad game.

bigger problem of africa is, aids is no terrible illness for them.

why not? because those people that get infected don't have a long live expectancy anyways. having an illness where you could die maybe in 10, 20 years.. and only MAYBE is of NO interest if you can get shot the next day, die in an accident, or get an illness that kills you in hours or days.

if those regions where people still get at most 40, maybe 50, they won't care about saving themselves from aids really. once their live expectancy goes up to f.e. >80 like here, then you care, as aids suddenly means half of your life lost. this is provable, and there are a lot of great infos about it on www.ted.com, the youtube for people that want to actually know stuff, and not just see chimpansees sticking up fingers in their asses and falling down from trees
