Emotionally driven synth-rock - vocals by Jazzyspoon

Here's the closing track from my upcoming "In Darkness the Light" EP. I'm going to do one more mixing pass on a different sound system to iron out any kinks, but otherwise it's pretty close to the final thing. Jazzy really pulled through on the vocals. There's no way this song would have been even half as good if not for him.
I wasn't going to post this until I released the EP, but I figure what the hell. This is kind of like the money shot of the EP. The reason why you listen to it. If you don't want the surprise ruined then look away!
This will be the last thing I post from the EP before it's released.

ROCK!
Looking forward to 3-1, for sure.
To throw my two cents in, I'd say nudge the vocals up just a wee smidge.

love the intro, builds beautifully
great vocals, but some of the louder drum hits seem to interfere with them, maybe an artifact of mastering?

Very nice.
You've come such a long from the tracks I heard of yours only what must've been no more than 6 months ago (man I messed this sentence up).
But yh nice work, keep it up.
Interested to hear the rest of the EP

Thanks for all the comments, guys!
tlennon - Thanks for checking out my stuff, as always!
crashofgods - glad I'm sparking some interest in it! Vocal placement's always a bit hard for me. I think I have a tendency to think they're too loud when they really aren't.
Poly - you know Jazzy?! Aren't we full of surprises!
andrew_ - I love intros! I'll be giving this one more pass on a different stereo, so hopefully it'll sound just a tad bit better in the final mix.
psychohagis - I'm interested in knowing what track you're referring to (and I'm impressed whenever anybody know who I am!) something off of "Super Battlestation Robot?"

I can't remember the names. It's some stuff you had on myspace a while back. I added you with my band on myspace. Back when I was a lot less busy and more interested in other ableton users - cos its fallen upon me to mix our whole album of like 14 tracks. Trying to check more people out again now though and recognized your name.

Wow, didn“t know Jazz could sing. Well, I have probably heard him singing before without knowing it. Nice work

This sounds great! I hope the album gels nicely. Are you going to sell it through CDbaby?

Thanks for all the replies! I don't think I've gotten so many before!
psychohagis - Gotcha. Well, hope you keep checking my stuff out! Started work on the next release (the one that's coming out AFTER this).
Trackdriver - Another person who knows Jazzy! He must really make a name for himself!

Yeah, I didn't know he had such a nice voice, either until he asked to contribute. Now I can't imagine this track without his vocals.
LLR - I think the EP has a good flow. There's a lot of repeating lyrical themes in there which should help when dealing with all those different vocalists. And this EP will be released for free on my bandcamp site. I've finished everything and am just sitting on it waiting for March 1st (I chose it 'cause it's an easy date to remember).
