I have most of the newer stuff from Puremagnetik, but Im looking for some more synth sounds as well as maybe some percussives.

What are some other companies that sell sounds for Ableton, and are there any packs you recommend from them?

Don't buy his, buy mine. Mine comes with over 60GB of farts. Very nuanced, with samples covering every velocity from 0 (silent killers) to 127 (Fartmageddon) with various IR impulses including jeans through briefs, jeans through boxers, overcoat, and even a completely buff set if you're into that sort of thing.

All kidding aside, I'm sure 60GB of unique fart sounds would be a nice source of single shot waveforms.
There's probably a clever "Analog" pun in that idea somewhere

why would you want sounds recommended by ableton? check out vengeance samples, they got a good reputation

Soniccouture, good stuff

I concur. I'm rather fond of Soniccouture's Konkrete series, and they handily come as the easily installable and removable Live Packs Ableton so generously hands out the ability to generate.

Another vote for soniccouture stuff. Great quality and thankfully they make it playable in Simpler as well as Kontakt.

Some other stuff to compliment the Konkrete Volumes 1 + 2 would be: www.galbanum.com (look for the abstraction series) and www.bitword.com (look for oxide kits volume 2 - multiformat)

+1 on the Puremagnetic and the Goldbaby, I own stuff from both from the Live 5 packs and they still work (and install!)

..but don't limit to Live specific packs, any good sample pack can be adapted easily enough, the extra work will make you only import the good stuff
