felt like SHOUTING OUT LOUD that OPERATOR IS MY NEW FAVOURITE SYNTH!

That's right, boys and boys, gentlemen and men of less gentility (and you, lurking girl):
Operator is my new favourite synth - I just knew you'd be interested to know.

It covers so much of my synth needs now that I've finally delved in and really gotten acquainted
with it.

awesome bit of kit.

It's a beautiful thing, to be sure. Not my favorite, no, but a thing of great and inspiring potential. I can't beleive they managed to make FM synthesis so approachable....nobody could ever figure out those DX7 thingies, and I still never feel inspired to use the NI FM8...but operator changed all that for me. at last, FM synth programming is fun!

as most of you most likely know yet, i use operator for everything currently, with very few exceptions. it's really an impressive synth, quite different to all others, but a great learning experience that allows you to get so much out of.. really nice piece. loving it
