bad crash with 404

well, can a crash be good?...
so, i was working in the arrangement view, moved a midi track with trilogy on it and then audio got stuck and Live wouldn't react anymore (frozen display).
now the funny part of it: i tried to kill the process in the task manager. so i selected it, and the app closed allright (no more icon in the task bar), but i wasn't able to stop the process itself (it was still showing Live 4.0.4.exe in the task manager), and the stuck audio buzz was still running... had to hard reboot the computer...

so lesson n°1: don't mess with midi tracks while sequencer is playing.

yes this happend for me aswell.
Live is playing and i delete a midi track with "velocity" plug on it
and - crash - "Live Failed to Respond" blah blah.

after many reboots i had to finally delete "velocity" plug then delete the midi track. (Live stopped)

You have to stop playback before deleting

I think you´ve got to stop audio playback, delete the midi plugin/instrument and after that delete the midi track.

I also had problems deleting a midi track with Arturia Moog Modular plugged in (crash).

what I also experienced was audio crackling while moving the crossfader when I had midi tracks in my project.

without midi tracks no crackle.

I think the midi in Live needs some reworking/update

I have also had fatal crashes in Live 4, something I have'nt experienced since v2, using Supercamelphat, but no midi.

I have not seen this one , so wrote my own thread but that is exactly pedro`s thing. So moving or trying to delete mdi tracks causes it.
Could it be vst related ? While opening 4.03 I saw some VST that need Cubase or Wavelab ( which I recently copied to VST folder). So I removed them from the folder. Trying to crush Live same way it happened yesterday and it does not happennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.......................................................................

Sorry, sorry ,sorry it is all BS, what I wrote above, just tried again and then it s crushed as before, let me leave my experiments and the pros do the job.
