4.0.4 is less stable....I have some problem with few vst plugins, and the cpu is most consumed then 4.03, Ohm plugins dont appear anymore...
4.0.4 crash sometimes with ableton plugs too..
I am little bit desapointed......
I use on Powerbook g4 1ghz with 1,5g ram and few more things...

How is possible to have a update or patch???

I can't agree when it comes to PC's - 4.04 is a major improvement; haven't had any bad experience with it, and iv'e used Live from it's very beginning (1,2,3&4) - in comb. with rewire, midisync, DSP-plugs & mLAN (FW), usb2-devs and more, - with SP2 as well.
But there is a problem with the Ohm-plugs, as i can see from the forum, so it may be that causing you problems..?
If not, this can be a mac-prob, since PC's cope just fine with 4.04 - or your M-Audio FW, there have bees issues with the FW-ports/adapters/bandwidth with macs, if i remember right..

But the Live-effects should absolutely NOT be acting funny - thats for sure! So you should check it out further, i believe it's a mac-bug in 4.04, since this haven't been mentioned before from any PC-user (yet), as far as i can tell..

Hope you fix this - if not, it should be up to the team to help you solving it, if 4.03 runs smooth on your daw..!

Best of luck!
Jo

I actually had some completely random crashes with 4.04, and decided to drop back to 4.03 for a while. Seems that it's not very common, or there'd be more posts about this...I'm on a PC/XP (SP1) system, so it isn't exactly a Mac problem.
