Unfortunately after upgrading to Live 8 Suite most of my projects originally created in Live 7 have been opened in Live 8 & saved in the new format. Live 8 has been unworkable for me. I have sent my crash logs etc to technical support but I don't see any realistic to this solution to this problem soon enough.

I currently am running both Live 8.1.1 & Live 7.0.18 suite. I have tried exporting MIDI clips from projects & tried to recreate my projects from these exported MIDI clips & the original audio files in Live 7. Problem is that after installing Live 8 it seems to have changed some of the devices in my Live library & I can no longer drag them onto audio or MIDI tracks in my Live 7 project!!!

Anyone else had this problem?

I will try reinstalling Live 7 along with it's library to a separate directory location to the Live 8 library.
