4.04 With Nuendo. a DEAL BREAKER !

I am running Nuendo 2.02.35b as a host , with 4.04. on XP pro
my problem 1: LIVE does not work if Reason is installed.
So I have to disable all other rewire apps. to use LIVE 4.04
2nd & more importantly. Live BEEPS kinda like a SHORT loop sound before it plays, this is a complete pain in the ASK . . . So I can not use Live
anyone else.
or this a NUENDO SteinBUG.

I had these beeps while rewiring to SX2, have no clue why, do not try and use it anymore, would be nice if somebody solves that.

I believe this is most likely a Steinberg bug.
The only reason I can't be 100% is that you are using XP.
It has definately been a Steinberg bug in Mac OSX land up until SX3 and whatever the latest version of Nuendo is.
The problem in Mac OSX SX/Neundo was having 2 Rewire applications with a multi processor computer.
If Reason is not installed you may find that Live does work.
I would have a good look in the Nuendo forums if I was you.

I too had the beep problem when rewired to Cubase SX 2.02. Since I upgraded to SX 3.0 the problem is solved! For me Live 4.04 rewired to Cubase SX 3.0 (Windows XP) works perfectly. I highly recommend to those having this problem with SX 2.0 to upgrade to 3.0. For Nuendo users, Nuendo 3 has been announced and is projected to be available late November so I would guess that release would also solve your problem.
