Ableton Library Folder is a Project Folder: problem!

My Ableton Library folder has been set up as a Project Folder (I don't know how this happened). Because of this I cannot create new projects and save them inside this folder. The obvious work around is to save them elsewhere as new projects, but this is very inconvenient. Is there a way to change the Library folder to a 'regular' folder, so that I can save projects inside?

You can change the location of the library folder in the preferences and opt not to copy the files in the current folder. What will be left behind is your old folder as a regular folder and the change location will rebuild all your installed Live Sets and library structure to its new location.

Hello,

The library is a project itself by design.
I highly recommend to use another folder where you save your projects as projects, i´m not sure
why you find this inconvenient.
The Live Library acts as a repository of commonly used files, such as samples, clips and Live Device Presets,

Best,
Christian
