STICKY Clip View

One of the routine tasks we need to do when warping long clips - tracks for DJing ... is to zoom in close on the clip view ... down to the beat level if we need to in order to nudge the beat divisions or set warp markers.
When zooming in close this way, the clip view "sticks" - the mouse freezes - we cannot make the adjustment. Wiggling the mouse back and forth unsticks this momentarily .. but ...
I know this has been a part of Live since at least vs 3 (first vs I owned).
However I am reporting this as a bug. When we are warping tracks on a routine basis, this becomes extremely frustrating and annoying.
Is there any way to give this process more priority? Seems like Live is having trouble calculating and drawing the waveform at this level.
