maybe i just have realized why... but maybe that is a bug or just ableton style ???
maybe just miss a piece of information how to use it propperly ?
following scenario.. file missing.. click on the info opens missing media file window...
i start auto search.. the very quck "nothing" respomse reminds me that i ve to show the search engine the folder where the file is in..
thanks god i know the folder and i select it..start search again...
And now it happens... i´ve the folder window open and can watch how live is searching.. i see the file .. its the 15´ns item from the top..but some folders are there before.. so live dont checks for the name instead it starts with the first file..
a folder called AKAI samples.. 2 gigabyte...
half an hour later after finising all folders within the folder that have names with letters prior to my filename it arrives on the missing file...
is this normal behavior that the search engine looks in any folder instead searching the root folder first?
or is that a bug of the actual beta?
