Random Audio Dropouts is happening with many of the users.
No it doesn't have something to do with the buffer size nor RAM. People with the latest Powerbooks, people with the latest OSX, people with latest 828mk2 users, are all complaing about this RANDOM AUDIO DROP OUTS !
This problem has not been fixed for a pretty long time, and people are still complaing.

Check out the forums.
Amazing how everyone is still having the same problem.

DO NOT USE LIVE4 ON STAGE !!
or you will get a very loud RIP from the SPEAKERS.
i repeat,
OSX, MOTU USERS, DO NOT USE LIVE4 ON STAGE.
untill ableton decides to fix the bug.

I also had three latest powerbooks to be exchanged, and they all had the same random audio dropouts. The first powerbook even had the random crashes, too. The third one is working great, though. But yes, it still has that crazy drop outs. I even used four 828mk2. Still we remain the same. G5 desktop is the solution ?? Well, too bad.

experienced the same problem with my desktop g4 and my motu828 mk2 but actually also running logic6, so i'd guess it's rather a 828 issue than a live issue..? did anyone contact motu support about that? are there firmware fixes?
