Does anybody here use Icecast? How does it work?

just wondering, I understand it is possible to stream audio directly from Live to Icecast.

It is possible. It has been a while though. Most people use a video and sound service like ustream or livestream.
Internet radio (sound only) is pretty old hat these days

I tried ustream a while back, i was puzzled by how to get audio out of Live and into it (I'm on Windows btw).
[edit] oh, wait, just did it, needed to select wave out as a rec source thru my control panel.
