Clip Envelope Automation Quantize with draw mode off

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to snap a breakpoint in the clip envelope window in session view to a quantize point? It doesn't seem to snap to anything at all for me at present, no matter what settings I have in global quantize etc. I've included a screenshot to show the window I'm talking about.
I'd like to be able to move any of the breakpoints and have them snap to the next available grid point determined by my quantize settings.... Big thanks!
Michael.

you ll have to draw automation using the pencil tool first for the breakpoints to snap to the grid .. and then turn off the pencil tool to make any fine adjustments etc
hopefully in live 9 there will be a snap to grid function

this is one of my main gripes with this program
(and most other sequencers ive used still seem pretty primitive with this too)
i like being able to have rhythmic automation..
using the draw tool does work, but it is a very clunky way of doing things.
(change to the tool, draw some square wave forms, change tool back, drag points up and down.. but try not to move any slightly to the left or right...)
or zoom allllll the way in, and do it by eye
automation cleanup would be nice too.. removing unnecessary points from messy automation recordings
also being able to type values sometimes would be nice..
and if automation was kept in its own clip style box, it would make it easier to copy and paste different automation curves between different tracks etc
sometimes i feel was spoiled by the automation clips and automation quantizing in Reason4..
copy that!
however for every thing that annoys me
there's 10 things that make me smile so keep up the good work!

The pencil snaps in oposite of the breakpoints.
