Multisample instruments; Simpler vs. Sampler

Dear all,
I'm just wondering whether or not I should buy sample packs that include multisampled instruments, as I only own Ableton Live 8 and not Suite, so I only have Simpler and no Sampler. I know that Sampler supports multisampled instruments and that you can manually setup multisampled instruments in Simpler, so I guess my question really is:
Should I buy sample packs with multisampled instruments, when I do not own Sampler or any other advanced sampler?
