There are 6 Live Tracks:

• BEATS
  BASS
  SOUNDS
  VOX (Loops and 1 shots)
  TONES loops (for Chopping)
  TRAXX loops (for Layering)

Is there any particular reason this pack doesn't come in Live7 format ?

I am running Live 8.1.1
To do that I guess I would have to re-install LIVE 7 and use that ?
If i could find L7...

I tried installing it as a Live Pack, I tried dragging and dropping it onto a Live set, I tried closing Live and right clicking on the .alp to open it with Live.

in all cases after I tell Live to install it to the Desktop (PC) or a brand new folder Live tells me:

"The Live pack "Battle_Axeblahblahblah" contains a Project and cannot be installed inside another Project." then it stalls while the f-ing "checking dependencies" dialog box hangs for a minute. all's well now.


yay Ableton.

I fucking hate this File Manglement system.

I will repack it as a live project with the loops as samplesez

This will give more access to the wav files for others.

Does a Live7/8 suite file load in LE / Intro / Lite ?

or should I start it in LIVE 7 / 8 - LE or Intro ?

hmm I'll try LIVE 6 LE.

the earlier the better. later versions can/are-supposed-to-be-able-to read/import files from older versions. not the other way round.

Im trying to upload a new LivePack

It is just audio files and an .als file zipped together.
This will allow everyone to get the AUDIO files and
Ableton Users to run the song in Ableton Live 5,6,7 or 8



I have tried 8 times to upload it but my server is being uncool.

I will post when its done.

I have uploaded a project file with audio loops
and an ableton song .als file for ableton arranged loops
All in one zipped archive to download.

Looks very interesting, but can you give a bit more info about this live pack?
Are the samples and sequences copyright free, can I use them in commercial productions or is it a pack with songs from you that can't be used commercially (like some of the Artist Packs Ableton gave away for their 10th B-Day)?

Hi mate - This is a REMIX Pack. [The Ableton LivePACK didnt work]
It contains Audio Files / Loops and a Live 5.2.2 als. file
The Audio Loops are set up in 6 tracks of 5* clips in session view

DRUMS
BASS
SOUNDS
VOCALS
+
TONES
TRAXX

> This allows for a basic 4X4 grid for the main elements of the Track.
+ 2 Tracks for layering / chopping into the basic(4)tracks

TONES is a track of bass tone clips to crossfade and chop up with the BASS track clips
TRAXX is a track of longer clips for instrumentals and drops to mix/layer with the basic(4)loops.

Feel free to download and use these REMIX packs to play live, dj or create new stuff with
and LET ME KNOW about it if its cool
