Is it possible to use 2 screens with Live? Is there a way to split the app like in Reason?

Not that I know of...but if you use vst or rewire stuff I've found it nice to toss all that on one screen and have live on the next.....

when the bridge gets hear (if that's your thing) you will be able to utilize dual (even 3) screens

Trust me: you'll need at least two monitors to see it in proper resolution.

Then again: http://www.ableton.com/thebridge...

This really should of happened by now i reckon users should

them and switch to another daw

I think what you meant to say was that my opinion is out of whack
in that it is clearly different from yours.

my priorities are something quite different and have nothing to do
with loyalty toward any particular brand of product or any thing outside
of my personal life. Getting to work is a priority paying rent is a priority
eating and shitting are priorities

Ableton and my opinion of it is not because I happen live in the real world
and prioritize needs over wants

Well suggesting people boycott their chosen daw because it lacks a feature that would be useful, but in most cases nobody actually *needs* would seem to run counter to that assertion. People who make music *need* a tool to do so, if it lacks a non-essential feature they may *want*, that hardly justifies a boycott. People gravitate toward Ableton for a reason, and that reason has nothing to do with how many screens they can put it on.

i've never heard of anyone asking for that. seems so The Matrix-ish.

which is where we all live.

Knight Industries needs to talk to his car about giving him an enema.

People gravitate towards ableton because there's not really any other option at present for loop based live
performance i am one
of those people and have been for a while now.
If and only if something better comes along
Especially if it's by a new company that gives users everything they have been asking for
for nearly a decade.

This in my mind, if it happens to work well will be a spectacular achievement from a start up company
and i will boycott ableton like a shot, for reasons stated by many others else where

Ableton are after all a multinational company by now and have certainly made enough money
to give people a bit more then an feature update once every three years or so.

If only lived in the real world perhaps i would have more realistic expectations.

ho hum...

Come on Micheal bend me over im ready :?
