Polls are a hard working, and honest people.

I never answer a poll question until at least 20 other people do. That way my answer is the most honest.

I hate it when they have false dichotomies, and/or too many options to reach a meaningful result given the sample size - this is more often than not the case on teh int0rwebz!

I've voted for "not sure", the thing is it depends what they ask about, if I'm really interested in the topic, but frankly speaking I'm more interestied in the results, not in participation...

Based on funky's reply, I think I might just post a poll "what do you think of funky shit?" just because he won't see it because he hates polls!! Wouldn't that be funny??!! It would be a funny poll, like the kind I like the most.

The reason most polls are bullshit is they are usually put on sites or taken in public areas where the participants lean heavily in one direction already.

Nothing's more horrifying or frustrating than a poll appearing on foxnews.com. If the poll isn't enough for you then read the comments, a stunning collection of the nation's ignorant, paranoid, and trigger-happy. For any US haters on here that's a good resource to fuel your fire.

We're probably not too far off from a government run by anonymous internet polls and call in voting.

The only thing worse than polls, or replying in poll threads, is replying to a discussion about whether to make a poll about a forum member. The only way it could get any worse than that is if there is a misunderstanding about sarcasm in the poll thread. I'm glad that almost never happens.
