wow! I hope they are solid (I can't stand this toy quality an more). and too bad this monome-clon thing has only 12 steps, would be a so nice step sequencer with 16 buttons. :/

Yes, I like that flashing stuff. Nice for live stuff. Looks affordable, too.
I'll check them out, when they hit at Thomann store...

Nice. Finally some things are happening!
I also dig this, for the musician approach:
http://www.dafact.com/products/karlax/overview
Been waiting for this a looong time: A musical midi instrument made to get the most out of human hands, using ergonomics and smart, logically placed velocity controllers. Laid out to where the hands can reach the most parameters, at the same time! I don't know if this specific device will fulfill these wishes, but it certainly is a step in the right direction.
So far there's been almost exclusively only controllers for keyboard players, followed by drummers and DJs. But there hasn't been much for other types of musicians. I hope this is a sign of change.

I'd like to know if the icreativ could be used to make a nice step sequencer. It mentions that the grid is 8x16. Guess I need another USB hub.
I don't think I've ever seen icon products in america however. Anyone else?
