hi can anybody recomend a decent usb powered interface for my macbook please?? looking to spend £100-£150. cheers people.

try to use firewire- also port powered. FW (not for you but also Expresscard/ PCI) interfaces are faster and a lot more independent from your computer as host.
USB causes a lot more CPU load and is better for MIDI.

Best AD/DA in class, in my opinion.

cheers for the quick reply,ive got the new macbook which doesnt have firewire unfortunatly!, but i also have an imac so if the is a soundcard out there that does both then that would be a great help! thanks
