I seem to have lost the ability to browse clips in Live 4.04 after installing this latest Panther upgrade.
Luckily i have 2 partitions set up with seperate systems just incase.
Still a pain though.
Anyone else experiencing this?

there are some issues reported on the forums of prlems with some external firewire drives.
Seems to be limited to one or a couple of makes.
I have put it on one brand new 1.5 powerbook and its running fine with an M-Audio firewire 410

UPDATE OS 10.3.6

Just make sure you repair permissions before and after the 10.3.6 installation. Also, try to trash the Ableton Live preferences (and any other ones that you think might be corrupt) and run Disk Warrior if you have to (if your mac freezes etc). Reset P-RAM and all the other trouble-shooting goodies.
It runs on mine fine !
repairing permissions is essential before and after any OS update (security updates too etc...)

OK here too... just to be safe always back up your currently working OSX using Carboncopycloner-it's free!! That way, when it all goes to shite you can just revert to your tried and trusted.

Do not use Live 4.04 on 10.3.6!!
Instead, e-mail ableton asking when Live 4.05 will be available??
Also ask if it will work???
I have experienced most of the bugs from the release version and cant wait for this public beta to stop (thought it had)!
