Hi!

Happily using the maschine with live 7, I began using my old unused copy of NI massive within the setup,

it's quite cool, but I encounter crashes (either just massive freezing, then ok, or massive crashing live...), when i browse the presets in massive,

do you guyz have the same problem?

any workaround????

(massive just fresh installed last version 1.1.4 after deleting any massive related file on the system, mac os 10.5.8, live 7.0.18 freshly installed too)

Same here. I already posted it in the bugs section and wrote an email to the support team including all log files they requested.

I got a reply with a "fix", unfortunately it didn't change a thing.

It drove me so nuts I stopped using massive.

I had the same problem. So i started using the audio units version and it seem to fix it

Working fine here with both, AU and VST. Try repairing Massive's preset database: Go to the "File" menu (in the plugin GUI) -> Options -> Browser and click 'Rebuild DB'. Wait until the spinning wheel next to the NI logo has disappeared, then check if this has solved the problem.

as I already told you via email neither repairing the preset database nor applying the patch you sent me helped (and I guess it won't help in his case either, however: try it....)

I already sent you my crash logs... is there nothing else you can figure out from them? How come we get those crashes and you don't? What could be different...?

sad, i dont have any of these problems, i used to get a crash every once in awhile when playing with the mod osc. But seems to be working stable again.

All I was able to see in your crashlogs was that Massive itself was crashing. Repairing the preset database seems to work for some users, but apparently not always. Perhaps there are two totally unrelated issues. You might also try to reinstall Massive 1.1.3 and see if that works any better. It's still available in NI's download section. If this is of any help, the preset crash problem with Massive seems to be a known issue at NI, also with other hosts: http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... 589&page=3

I'd suggest to contact NI's support, too.

Good idea... should have thought of doing that as well

just tried again ith the AU, no probs

retried the VST, no probs neither...

I'll try further with other parameters in live (midi in, ...)
