Hi all!

I need some mastering masters' advices.

I'm not trying to copycat this sound, but understand what's being done and tweak it some to my likings.

This is some serious phat saw synths. How many saws do you think there is ? Higher pitched ones with lower ones ? Reverbs, choruses ? Any ideas ?

lofi and bad youtube quality... hard combination to analyze

i dont thing there are lot of sawtooth in there... maybe two + subosc or doubled by a sub bass.
some distortion and sidechain compressed by the bass drum. monosound, retrigger off.

Just sounds like meaty distortion on saws, sidechained.
Possibly some LowPass Filter action as well.

Try using guitar amp distortions like NIs Guitar Rig for meaty distortion, etc.

Hmm, that's more than I can handle. Compressed by the bass drum ? Retrigger off ? I'll look that up.

As for "Nic's Guitar Rig", is that a VST plugin ?
