Is there a way to use the APC to arrange the sequencer in ableton instead of clicking on each cell to arrange a pattern?

I downloaded a .rar template file and took a look at a video on Max.

Need to research Max some more. Is this the right direction to go? For now I'll just use the mightymouse.
