Multiple takes on one track

Is there a way to do multiple takes on one track?Any help would be great.Thanks

is to 'loop' the arrangement... and record your take continuously...
at the end press up/down on the recorded clip' loop-brace to switch between 'takes'

record into session view ...
this way ..when finish...you can switch between the takes on the fly (using 'legato' mode on the clips)...
and 'record' that to the arrangement as you go..
