I dj with live and I have hundreds of loops etc and I forget which ones I have played.

I actually like this idea.
As long as its an option, selectable in preferences.

This is accessable through the Live.API in M4L so is definitely possible to do..... Live 9?

Hello!

I've been wanting this feature as well. I found a 'device' based on MaxForLive that can do it, but I don't have MaxForLive, just the basic Ableton Live Lite. I found AbletonOSC and pylive that allowed me to write a python utility that can run in the backgound and monitor for when clips finish playing, then change their color. I've published my work as a PyPI package. Details, including source code, can be found at https://pylive-played-clip.readthedocs. ... index.html
