APC40 problems

Hi everybody,
my apc40 stops working now very often. It always happens when I record automation of uad-plugins. I switch a compressor on and the apc is gone! It seems to happen since the latest live update. Does anybody have the same problems with the apc40?
My setup macbookpro 2,4 ghz, live 8.1.1, uad solo laptop, apc40 and maschine
