Hi,
I love this Jonny Greenwood crazy solo :

since I included Live in my guitar set, I'll be happy to experiment sounds like that.
Anyone knows there is a similar patch available out here?

Alternately, you could think about what it is you're hearing, try to imagine what a Max for Live device that did that would be, and use that as the thing that starts you learning a little Max.
It worked for me, although I confess that the first thing I made didn't do what I expected, precisely. In fact, it was a bit more interesting than what I thought I wanted - so I went with it and haven't looked back since.
You might want to look at the
stutter~ object, while you're at it.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try my best to learn M4L.
Also I'll try some patches from maxforlive.com maybe it'll help me in my quest.

Thanks a lot,
for the moment, I have no output signal. I droped the patch on a audio track and selected my audio input, but if I want a 100% wet signal there's no output.
I'll try to edit the patch and see what is going wrong.

There's a usefull "m4l.bal~" (or something like that) abstraction in the m4l-patches folder that would suit your problem.

you have to select an oscilator type in the umenus, and then play with the dry/wet knob/fader
I've referred that this patch has some bugs.. with time I will place a couple of loadbangs to solve the problem

You'll need to freeze it to include the fiddle object??
Still can't get anything useable out of the device though even with that replaced?
Cheers

yeah.. I've forgotten to make the freeze in order to include the externals in the device (it was the first device that I actually published and it is still a beta version).. but you actually can download the CNMAT library from berkeley computer music department, where all those and more amazing externals are actually featured.. so try to download the externals yourself.. and then if it still doesn't work.. I will make another version, with the externals included and the stuff of the umenus and value triggering solved..

I've updated the device in maxobjects.com... I've corrected a couple of mistakes that you've guys stated and I've also done a freeze to the device.. hope it included the externals.. greets

I wasn't able to find a windows version of fiddle~ even in the CNMAT library.
Does someone know where to download it?
