automation points

I am not real keen on nothing but linear movement between points - only using lines and points makes automation editing cluttered.

it would be nice if Live instead averaged out recorded automation data to one of several curves, eg exponential, linear etc. - in other words, a smooth knob increase would result with two points with a smooth curve between them and not 100 small points. and with editing, the curve of the line should be changeable. I love this feature in Acid 3 and up. the only thing they added that I like since v2 . . . .

Ditto, though I am mostly concerned with the ability to simply use fast/slow fades in sequencing.

Still not implemented in v2.0 (as far as I can tell). It would make my life so much easier as I automate things like they are going out of fashion!

How about a quantize function for recording tweaks. + a curve based editor rather than points so you could just draw waves with the mouse with one click. Like fruityloops does.
