I didn't have issues with the old version either, but some definitely did.

Update went smooth on my XP PC.
Its seems that switching between presets is faster than with the 1.1.4 version :D

Since you are a massive moderator I have some questions.
It seems that heavy massive presets will cause my computer to crackle.
It seems that now with the new release 1.15 works fine in 8.1.1, but in this new beta I have to boost the output buffer extremely high to even get moderator preset to not crackle. Now I am not on an i7 but don't think I should have to be.

I use massive in a live context not just productions of individual tracks. This might be the problem.

To give you an exsample last night we were screwin around with routing reason/record via external instruments into live. Something like 7 comb. with tons of devices and effects. Things were workin great. I even tossed in absynth 5, kontakt 4 (with guitar rig pro 4 effects). No crackling that I could hear. Then I tried to get bold and tossed on massive. Hit a key and things starting cracking.

Now I would say that I might be pushing the system to hard but it was simple that once I turned off all the plugins from NI reason/record were working just fine. When I mean turned off I just mean the volume not stopping the clips. When I turned the tracks back on I got the famous crackle.

I'll be happy to make a video and post it for you guys to look at. I don't really hang out in the NI forum but i'll be happy to help fix these issues.

Let me know if there are any suggestions that I can change on my setup via ableton or massive that might fix these problems.

Also I could not get guitar pro 4 new download to open on the win 7 64 laptop, or vista 64 desktop.

Thanks for all the help

That sounds like a Live issue considering it works in the older version, does it not? Ask Ableton support.

Unlikely. My work's split 50/50 between the two.

Try turning down the quality or polyphony in Massive then. The quality can be set per patch or globally- see if a lower setting will work for you.

Which is to be expected. Absynth 5, if you're using the Aetherizer, supercomb and/or granular oscillators can get pretty CPU intensive on its own. I couldn't run some of the new factory patches with decent polyphony until I upgraded my system a month or so ago.

We mods are volunteers- we don't work for NI.

If you're talking about not being able to unzip it, redownload it. If the installer failed, try running as admin (right click on the installer and choose that option). If that doesn't work, contact support.
