Why Upgrade to Live 8.1.3?????

I have been using Live 8.0.8 for many, many months now and have NEVER had a crash or any of the other problems other users have been having with Live 8.1.1 and above. Can Ableton give me 3 good reasons why I should download the upcoming release of Live 8.1.3 and deal with potential bug issues and crashes. All I want to do is make my music, not deal with software development issues.

Again, 3 good reasons. Thanks.

Well, if it works fine for you now, I think the conclusion has already been reached. Unless a new fix or feature is included that benefits/effects you, there is no reason to upgrade any software to the latest version. ;)

1) Crashes

2) Bugs

3) Frustration

1) Max for Live

2) Max for Live

3) Collaboration with others who use Max for Live

The new formats since 8.1 can not be loaded with earlier versions though. And 8.1 is needed for Max for Live. Hence the reasons. If none of these pertain to you and your system is running smooth, you don't really need to update.

Actually same probably goes for the Serato stuff but I'm not sure.

For those of us that don't want the M4L code rammed down our throats, 8.0.9 was the killer app. Unfortunately, it's no longer obtainable. :(
