recommend a bluetooth mouse for OS X

I have a BT mighty mouse that I refuse to put batteries in any longer. The scroll ball is also junk. I don't think I'll like the new mighty mouse.
Some of the *GASP* microsoft mice have caught my eye, and they claim to be OS X compatible. Yes, it has to be wireless, and it has to be bluetooth because I refuse to give up my USB ports. Anybody feel the need to use all of the 20 buttons on mice these days? wtf do you set them all to do?
thanks ahead of time!

i think anything from logitech is good, i am not a fan of apple mice, my experience is they suck and break easy, but i don't know about the newest version.

are bluetooth mouses really reliable??
I got one, and never use it, because it needs batteries, and sometimes looses connection... it's a logitech I think (I 'm not at home...)
cheers

The Achilles heel of the world's greatest computer hardware designers. DO NOT WANT Apple-mouse-anything!

I've been using a Logitech wireless mouse with the USB receiver thing for years. It's been a good mouse, but my desk space is so limited now that I've been sticking the receiver to the back of my monitor with gaffer tape. I just don't like seeing it, and since my computer has bluetooth, I'd rather use that. I'm into having as little clutter as possible, even behind my monitors.

I get too fed up of changing batteries in wireless mice.
Wired it is.

the "nano" receivers are very small, they stick out about a cm. but if you want bluetooth then by all means but just like supamonsta i've read they aren't as reliable.

don't know, i have a logitech bluetooth mouse since over 4 years know, daily nearly all day long use...
it never failed in any way whatsoever, batteries last about 7-9 month, and i know several other logitech bluetooth mouse owners (also on PCs) and they are all satisfied like me.
this one:

highly recommended, but i have to say the funny thing is that i have with other devices bad and very unreliable experiences, like phones, etc.
but not with the mouse.

I've tried a few bluetooth mice in the past. My Logitech is the only one I've liked. Had it for about three years, works fine.

the magic mouse is the best mouse I've ever used. It's like using my laptop'S trackpad + a mouse

Using a Logitech MX600 here with no issues. Batteries usually last 4-5 months here, though we use rechargables for everything here so it's no biggy to toss in new batteries.

I have owned a logitech wireless mouse for over two years and have only had to change the batts once. I am a student so i spend countless hours on the computer so its battery life is pretty damn respectable. Granted, if youre out of batteries when the time comes, youre out of luck, so keep a spare around
