She did say that the macbook (with Live not Logic!) was literally just to take the audio out. It had no other purpose in the setup.
The again, I only watched the first half, so she might have used it further later on.

That was friggin horrible.

Its just a demo setup, got no problem with that.
In fact it got me tempted to try it out. Rather bring an ipad then a laptop to a dj job..
