As a new customer starting with 8.1.1 I was pretty much frustrated experiencing nagging subtle latency problems in a traktor sync setup, causing an irregular static noise that would only eventually vanish at a massive audio buffer size (frames/period) of 1024 and only at a sample rate of 44100 (no chance at 48000). This problem has been thoroughly fixed by the 8.1.3 update, thanks a lot! Now operation is even glitchfree at the lowest latency setting possible with the ASIO driver I use, and also with a sample rate of 48000 (although a buffer of 128 at 48kHz is kind of at the limit with this thinkpad T60 Core Duo T2300, showing a small amount of initial xruns in jack). Now I can start using this beast.

I dared the update after disabling the reportedly massive EventRecorder log production (apparently in the "Bug Reporting" folder) by creating a file "Options.txt" in the folder C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\User\Anwendungsdaten\Ableton\Live 8.1.3\Preferences (german XP, same folder that contains a file called "Preferences.cfg") and adding the line "-EventRecorder=Off" to it.
