Problem with the 8.1.3 Upgrade

I just installed 8.1.3 and I am trying to open the program. As it is going thru a start-up process and it keeps hanging up.

When it is "Scanning Default Packages" I get a screen for "Checking Package Dependencies" and it locks up at the 50% mark. As a result, I am not able to open Ableton.

The first time I tried opening the program, it hung up importing or indexing the video tutorials, but I have not seem that screen again.

I have an I7 Windows machine running Vista 64. I have many plug-ins/VST's including Guitar Rig, Audiffex, several Native Instruments players and a lot of PureMagnetik stuff.

One thought I had was to remove all plug-ins and reinstall them once I get 8.1.3 up and running, but I would first like to know if the plug-ins are the problem or not.

Any advice appreciated.

I found a file named "Install.log" and I opened it and one of the last lines referenced needing Admin Access (sorry I don't know the exact verbiage).

I ran the program with Admin Rights and the program ran thru its automated set-up without any issues. Now that it has gone thru that process I can start and run the program in normal mode (non-Admin mode).

Thank you for your help.
