Give me some feedback before I am tired of/finished with this track. See the soundcloud description for my thoughts on what should be added to this track...

It's an Electro / Nu-Something track by the way. It was supposed to become something more Techy but I just couldn't resist...

Oh and I don't have a Speak 'n Spell, at all. I just 'grabbed' those samples ;)

[EDIT]Final edit is done and uploaded

Hi Mike. One of the things that would get you more listeners and build your fan base here on the AL forum, is to listen and comment on other artists' post. This is the fourth post of your stuff but not once have you spent time helping others to improve. I hope that it's not what you intended. Respectfully!

I got to say Mike.... I really love this track especially that vocal sample and the gated sythn part. Is that the way the vocal came or did you use the Redux/Erosion on it. Most parts are very dry and I would love to hear the diff with some delay/reverb. You could also try to add some drum fills to make the drums less stagnant. I would rock this at a club easily. Very good work dude. Thanks!

Great to hear you like it that much!
I used a little bit of downsampling (about 4-5) in Redux. Just to get the sound I want. It more or less sounds like that already.
Yeah, playing a bit with reverb or delay might be a good idea. I realize it needs a bit more variety and better transitions at some points and that's what I'll mainly be working on. I hope I can come up with some nice drum fills. Sometimes I make good ones and at other times they just sound too stiff.

It has a lot of potential. I think some wild ambient noise and strange synth sounds in the background would fill it in nicely. Just a thought. Also, analog strings to add dimension to the chord progression couldn't hurt either.

Just my two cents :D

Thankyou! There is some background noise and synth stuff going on at the beginning already but I agree it needs a little more of that. Good idea concerning those strings. Didn't consider those for this song yet...

Much more variety of sounds Mike. More verb and delays used as well to give a bigger space. I still like the Redux vox sample. You've spent a lot of time on this track and the benefits should pay off.

Yeah, I added some a little reverb and delay with low dry/wet settings here and there and it really adds to it. Hope it pays off, too ;)

Thanks! I'm just realizing how important decent energy buildups during breakdowns are...

I'm really liking this track. I just kind of wish the Speak N Spell "say it" samples were introduced earlier. Otherwise pretty solid! Keep it up
