Song Position Pointer bug? Live 4.0.4 Windows

Hi,
I'm using Live 4.0.4 on Windows XP SP2.
I'm having trouble with Song Position Pointer when live is slaved to midi clock sync. When I send an SPP, Live sets its msr/beat/sub position correctly, but then when I send a continue message, Live jumps ahead by a measure or so, and thereafter is also out of phase with the beat.
I've been testing this with Midi Ox, using a very slow tempo (20bpm) to get a closer look at what's happening. Generally I trust Midi Ox a lot (maybe I shouldn't?). I also get the same kind of odd behavior when I sync Live to my own program that acts as sync master.
I saw a bug posting in the Live 4 beta forum about SPP, not sure if it's the same problem?
Anyone see something like this, or have any ideas?
Cheers,
Michael
