Hi there all,

AU's are now a big part of the Apple strategy, with support from Logic (in the next few weeks) and promised support from Cubase when released.

The tools to create them are included free with the OS.

Please vote to gauge public opinion on them....

The AU tools are free, as are the Altivec APIs and code examples. The only reason not to add support is to slowly push people away from using Live on future and current Macs.

whatever, really.

I expect most developers will do plugs in both formats for a while anyway.

this is nothing like as important as a) adding new audio features, and b) altivec support.
